Note on Data Transfer to Third Countries That Are Not Data Protection Secure and Transfer to US Companies Not DPF Certified
Among other things, we use tools from companies located in third countries that are not considered data protection secure and US tools whose providers are not certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). If these tools are active, your personal data can be transferred to these countries and processed there. We point out that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in third countries that are not data protection secure.
We point out that the USA generally has a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU as a secure third country. Data transfer to the USA is permissible if the recipient has a certification under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF) or has suitable additional guarantees. Information on transfers to third countries, including the data recipients, can be found in this Privacy Policy.
Recipients of Personal Data
As part of our business activities, we work with various external parties. This sometimes requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only transfer personal data to external parties if this is necessary as part of contract fulfillment, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g., transfer of data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in the transfer pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the data transfer. When using processors, we only transfer personal data of our customers on the basis of a valid Data Processing Agreement. In the case of joint processing, a joint processing agreement is concluded.
Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent you have already given at any time. The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to Object to Data Collection in Special Cases and to Direct Marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
IF DATA PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF ART. 6 (1) LIT. E OR F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT, AT ANY TIME, TO OBJECT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR REASONS ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING BASED ON THESE PROVISIONS. THE RESPECTIVE LEGAL BASIS ON WHICH PROCESSING IS BASED CAN BE FOUND IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU OBJECT, WE WILL NO LONGER PROCESS YOUR AFFECTED PERSONAL DATA UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING THAT OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING IS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS (OBJECTION ACCORDING TO ART. 21 (1) GDPR).
IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNING YOU FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING TO THE EXTENT THAT IT IS RELATED TO SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL SUBSEQUENTLY NO LONGER BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE OF DIRECT MARKETING (OBJECTION ACCORDING TO ART. 21 (2) GDPR).
Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, the data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to Data Portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.
Information, Correction, and Deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient, and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and other questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
-
If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the review, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
-
If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
-
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
-
If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, a balancing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data—apart from its storage—may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection because the browser's address line changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Encrypted Payment Transactions on This Website
If, after concluding a paid contract, you are obligated to transmit your payment data to us (e.g., account number for direct debit authorization), this data is required for payment processing.
Payment transactions via common payment methods (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) are carried out exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognize an encrypted connection because the browser's address line changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
With encrypted communication, your payment data transmitted to us cannot be read by third parties.
Objection to Promotional Emails
We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the framework of the mandatory legal notice (Impressumspflicht) for sending advertising and information materials that have not been expressly requested. The site operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited submission of advertising information, such as spam emails.
4. Data Collection on This Website
Cookies
Our internet pages use so-called "cookies." Cookies are small data packets that do no harm to your end device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or until an automatic deletion occurs by your web browser.
Cookies can come from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of specific services from third-party companies within websites (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary because certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or video display). Other cookies can be used to analyze user behavior or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are necessary for the electronic communication process, for providing certain functions you desire (e.g., for the shopping cart function), or for optimizing the website (e.g., cookies for measuring web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of their services. If consent for the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this Privacy Policy.

The provider of this technology is Borlabs GmbH, Rübenkamp 32, 22305 Hamburg, Germany (hereinafter Borlabs).
When you enter our website, a Borlabs cookie is stored in your browser, which stores the consents you have given or the revocation of these consents. This data is not passed on to the provider of Borlabs Cookie.
The collected data is stored until you ask us to delete it, delete the Borlabs cookie yourself, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected. Details on the data processing of Borlabs Cookie can be found at: https://de.borlabs.io/kb/welche-daten-speichert-borlabs-cookie/ (German link left as per source).
The Borlabs Cookie consent technology is used to obtain the legally required consents for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR.

-
Browser type and browser version
-
Operating system used
-

-
Hostname of the accessing computer
-
Time of the server request
-
IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free display and optimization of their website—for this purpose, server log files must be recorded.
Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, if your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) if this was requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your inquiry has been completely processed). Mandatory legal provisions—in particular retention periods—remain unaffected.
Inquiry by Email, Telephone, or Fax
If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request.
The data you send to us via contact inquiries will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been completely processed). Mandatory legal provisions—in particular legal retention periods—remain unaffected.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on this website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
5. Analytics Tools and Advertising
Google Tag Manager
We use the Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The Google Tag Manager is a tool that allows us to integrate tracking or statistics tools and other technologies into our website. The Google Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles, store cookies, or perform its own analysis. It only serves to manage and deploy the tools integrated through it. However, the Google Tag Manager collects your IP address, which can also be transferred to Google's parent company in the United States.
The use of the Google Tag Manager is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the quick and uncomplicated integration and management of various tools on its website. If corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's end device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF commits to complying with these data protection standards. Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics enables the website operator to analyze the behavior of website visitors. The website operator receives various usage data, such as page views, duration of stay, operating systems used, and user origin. This data is summarized in a User ID and assigned to the respective end device of the website visitor.
Furthermore, with Google Analytics, we can, among other things, record your mouse and scroll movements and clicks. Google Analytics also uses various modeling approaches to supplement the collected data sets and employs machine learning technologies for data analysis.
Google Analytics uses technologies that enable the recognition of the user for the purpose of analyzing user behavior (e.g., cookies or device fingerprinting). The information collected by Google about the use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
The data transfer to the USA is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/controllerterms/mccs/.
The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
IP Anonymization
Google Analytics IP anonymization is activated. This means your IP address is truncated by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website use and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data by Google.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent Google from collecting and processing your data by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. (German link left as per source).
More information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google's Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de. (German link left as per source).
Processor Agreement
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.
Google Analytics E-commerce Measurement
This website uses the "E-commerce measurement" function of Google Analytics. With the help of e-commerce measurement, the website operator can analyze the purchasing behavior of website visitors to improve their online marketing campaigns. Information such as orders placed, average order values, shipping costs, and the time from viewing to purchasing a product are recorded. This data can be summarized by Google under a transaction ID assigned to the respective user or their device.
WP Statistics
This website uses the analytics tool WP Statistics to statistically evaluate visitor access. The provider is Veronalabs, Tatari 64, 10134, Tallinn, Estonia (https://veronalabs.com).
With WP Statistics, we can analyze the use of our website. WP Statistics collects, among other things, log files (IP address, referrer, browser used, user origin, search engine used) and actions that website visitors have taken on the page (e.g., clicks and views).
The data collected with WP Statistics is stored exclusively on our own server.
The use of this analytics tool is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior to optimize both our web offering and our advertising.
IP Anonymization
We use WP Statistics with anonymized IP. Your IP address is truncated so that it can no longer be directly assigned to you.
Google Ads
The website operator uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Ads allows us to display advertisements in the Google search engine or on third-party websites when the user enters certain search terms on Google (keyword targeting). Furthermore, targeted advertisements can be displayed based on user data available to Google (e.g., location data and interests) (target group targeting). As the website operator, we can quantitatively evaluate this data, for example, by analyzing which search terms led to the display of our advertisements and how many advertisements led to corresponding clicks.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
The data transfer to the USA is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks and https://business.safety.google/controllerterms/.
The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
Google AdSense (Non-Personalized)
This website uses Google AdSense, a service for integrating advertisements. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use Google AdSense in "non-personalized" mode. Unlike the personalized mode, the advertisements are therefore not based on your previous user behavior and no user profile is created for you. Instead, so-called "contextual information" is used when selecting advertising. The selected advertisements are then based, for example, on your location, the content of the website you are on, or your current search terms. You can find more about the differences between personalized and non-personalized targeting with Google AdSense here: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/9007336.
Please note that even when using Google AdSense in non-personalized mode, cookies or comparable recognition technologies (e.g., device fingerprinting) may be used. According to Google, these are used to combat fraud and misuse.
You can adjust your advertising settings yourself in your user account. Click on the following link and log in: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.
Further information on Google's advertising technologies can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads and https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. (German link left as per source).
The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
Google Ads Remarketing
This website uses the functions of Google Ads Remarketing. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
With Google Ads Remarketing, we can assign people who interact with our online offering to specific target groups to subsequently display interest-based advertising in the Google advertising network (Remarketing or Retargeting).
Furthermore, the advertising target groups created with Google Ads Remarketing can be linked with Google's cross-device functions. In this way, interest-based, personalized advertising messages that were adapted to you based on your previous usage and surfing behavior on one device (e.g., mobile phone) can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g., tablet or PC).
If you have a Google account, you can object to personalized advertising under the following link: https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?hl=de. (German link left as per source).
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Further information and the privacy policy can be found in Google's Privacy Policy under: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de. (German link left as per source).
The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google Conversion Tracking. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
With the help of Google Conversion Tracking, Google and we can recognize whether the user has performed certain actions. For example, we can evaluate how often certain buttons on our website were clicked and which products were viewed or purchased particularly often. This information is used to create conversion statistics. We learn the total number of users who clicked on our ads and which actions they performed. We do not receive any information that allows us to personally identify the user. Google itself uses cookies or comparable recognition technologies for identification.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
More information on Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de. (German link left as per source).
The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). Further information on this can be obtained from the provider at the following link: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)
This website uses the conversion measurement pixel of Facebook/Meta for conversion measurement of visitor actions. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. According to Facebook, the collected data is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.
This allows the behavior of page visitors to be tracked after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized.
The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so a connection to the respective user profile is possible, and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy (https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/). This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. We, as the site operator, have no influence on this use of the data.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
We use the function of Extended Matching within the Meta Pixel.
Extended Matching allows us to transmit various types of data (e.g., place of residence, state, zip code, hashed email addresses, names, gender, date of birth, or telephone number) of our customers and interested parties, which we collect via our website, to Meta (Facebook). By activating this, we can tailor our advertising campaigns on Facebook even more precisely to people who are interested in our offers. Extended Matching also improves the attribution of website conversions and expands Custom Audiences.
Insofar as personal data is collected on our website and forwarded to Facebook using the tool described here, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). Joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its transfer to Facebook. The processing carried out by Facebook after the transfer is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly have been set out in an agreement on joint processing. You can find the wording of the agreement at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing the data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for the data protection compliant implementation of the tool on our website. Facebook is responsible for the data security of the Facebook products. Data subject rights (e.g., requests for information) with regard to the data processed by Facebook can be asserted directly with Facebook. If you assert the data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.

6. Newsletter
Newsletter Data
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we require an email address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address provided and agree to receive the newsletter. No other data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers, described below, to manage the newsletter.
CleverReach
This website uses CleverReach for sending newsletters. The provider is CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, Germany (hereinafter "CleverReach"). CleverReach is a service that can be used to organize and analyze newsletter delivery. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g., email address) is stored on CleverReach's servers in Germany or Ireland.
Our newsletters sent with CleverReach enable us to analyze the behavior of newsletter recipients. This includes analyzing how many recipients opened the newsletter message and how often which link in the newsletter was clicked. With the help of so-called conversion tracking, it can also be analyzed whether a predefined action (e.g., purchasing a product on this website) occurred after clicking the link in the newsletter. Further information on data analysis by CleverReach newsletters can be found at: https://www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/ (German link left as per source).
Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
If you do not want analysis by CleverReach, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this in every newsletter message.
The data you store with us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after unsubscribing. Data stored with us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored in a blacklist with us or the newsletter service provider, if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is only used for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Storage in the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.

9. Our Own Services
Handling of Applicant Data
We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g., by email, post, or via an online application form). Below, we inform you about the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected as part of the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing, and use of your data are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other legal provisions, and that your data is treated strictly confidentially.
Scope and Purpose of Data Collection
If you send us an application, we process your associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes from job interviews, etc.) insofar as this is necessary to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 BDSG under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (general contract initiation) and – if you have given consent – Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be passed on within our company to people involved in processing your application.

This retention serves, in particular, as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is foreseeable that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g., due to a pending or threatened legal dispute), deletion will only take place when the purpose for further storage ceases to apply.
Longer storage can also take place if you have given corresponding consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
Inclusion in the Applicant Pool
If we cannot offer you a job, there may be an option to include you in our applicant pool. In the event of inclusion, all documents and information from the application will be transferred to the applicant pool in order to contact you in the event of suitable vacancies.
Inclusion in the applicant pool takes place exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR). Giving consent is voluntary and is not related to the current application process. The data subject can revoke their consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool, provided there are no legal reasons for retention.
The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.
